This year, it seems more companies than ever are giving viewers an early peek at their Super Bowl ads. But doesn’t that ruin the fun?

The big game isn’t until Sunday, but commercials like Matthew Broderick‘s Ferris Bueller’s Day Off spoof for Honda and Volkswagen’s latest Star Wars riff are already available online. If you’re going to pay the reported $3.5 million for a 30-second spot, why not build some suspense?
